There is another whole left in the music world as Clarence Clemon’s leaves us… His job was more than well done…
Bruce Springsteen & his East Street Band was a driving force in the mid 70’s and 80’s & still is… They launched everything from Courtney Cox’s career to the massive influential Bon Jovi - every time I watch Jon Bon Jovi perform you can see undertones of the Springsteen influence & inspiration…
They even inspired the late and great Leroi (Roi) from the Dave Matthews Band & the movie Eddie & The Cruiser’s was that fictional side that was inspired by Bruce Springsteen & the East Street Band… So many band’s from Denver to Detroit have been influenced by the sounds of Clarence Celmons… If you play an instrument ~ if you write ~ if you perform ~ you have been inspired at some point by Clarence Celmons…
Saxophones are a staple in the most basic of rock-n-roll creations… They are the grit and earth of every first note & finishing lacquer on the last one…
My heart goes out to Bruce Springsteen & his East Street Band ~ The Family & Friends of Clarence Celmons…
Thank you Mr. Clarence Clemons ~ Thank you for being here & allowing all of us to share in your world….
~ wishing you love…
